Last week we talked about the three major categories of off-road vehicles. Today, let's take a look at some niche categories besides these:

4.Trial bike

Trial Bike is a very extreme car model that has no seat, is very light, and very short. Its significance lies in an extremely difficult race and stunt performance, represented by the GAS GAS, French Sherco, and domestic Turner race models.

Most climbing bikes use two-stroke motorcycle engines with a displacement of no more than 300cc, which greatly tests their balance and precise handling of the vehicle.

5.Super Moto

Many people are familiar with super moto. Taking KTM's sliding tire car as an example, SMR is a road racing car based on SX450F. The main difference between SMR and SX450F is that the shock absorber travel is shortened by 1-2 cm compared to the off-road version, the setting is harder and more suitable for flat asphalt roads, and it can also be used on dirt roads on the track.

The front and rear use 17 inch wheels, and the clutch is also equipped with a sliding clutch, which prevents excessive jumping when the rear wheels start to slip due to gear brakes before entering the bend. The electronic control part is also different from the off-road version.

In terms of engine and transmission gears, they are the same as the SX version, with a gear ratio setting and a fifth gear added to the sliding tire version.

6.Pit Bike/Fun Bike/Mini Bike

They are all a type of car, small off-road bikes with small size and engine displacement. This type of bike is not only suitable for teenagers, but also for adults.

7.Quad Bike（ATV）

It has four wheels and the handlebars control the direction. This type of vehicle has the strongest off-road capability from zero to the ground, covering the entire range. The weaker cars are used as beach bikes, the more powerful ones, and if there is a trunk, they can also be used as farmer's bikes. The strongest models are used for racing, and a separate category is set up for ATV in the Dakar Rally.
