British military buy Surron Light Bee X instead of heavy aircraft.

British airborne forces have an early record of using airborne motorcycles, but with the progress of communication technology, military motorcycles gradually faded from the stage of history. But in recent years, electrification has swept the world, and electric motorcycles have begun to slowly appear in the military motorcycle market. Recently, the British airborne force conducted the first combat exercise test of electric off-road vehicle in the French countryside, and the selected electric vehicle is the light bee X created by the innovative brand Surron.

As a light off-road electric vehicle, the official data shows that the Light Bee X is only 47kg, equipped with a 6KW motor and a group of removable lithium batteries that can provide a 100km range. The battery can be fully charged in 3.5 hours, with a top speed of 72 km/h.

It is understood that the electric off-road motorcycle is quiet and with low heat. These characteristics makes it suitable as battlefield interactive vehicle. It also facilitates the use of reconnaissance work, which not only makes the reconnaissance forces more efficient and enables the commander to grasp the battle situation changes more completely; and the mobility advantage also helps the troops to move to strategic areas more quickly.
